Help with very bad idle
So got the motor running but it won't idle for crap. It's backfiring and sputtering like crazy. If I hold rpm at 1300+ it will smooth out. Motor has long tubes no cats no smog pump or egr. Has cc503 cam.
Does this cam throw the PCM of that much to where it will run like this. Very very frustrated and need help please

Appears you swapped the the 303 in place of the LT4 HOT cam. As noted above, did you have it tuned? Are you sure you had the dots lined up correctly on the timing set?
