help! tranny gauge wiring question

first..what tool should i use to take out the plug in the tranny and can i just go ahead and do it(no fluid will escape?)

then di i just wrap my 18 gauge wire around the bolt and screw the nut tight?

next

ok when wiring my tranny temp gauge i know theres a....

--wire from sender to gauge
--wire from gauge to ground
--two wires that came attached to gauge (1 ground and the other go in what fuse port?) --and then theres one more wire that goes in the fuse port

what im asking is where does the wire for ignition(it says) go and where does the other go
...on the fuses

theres 2 wires i have to put in the fuse ports which goes where..theres a constant 12V..and a switched 12V

which wire gets which

You need the sender to screw into the trans access hole. Also protect the wire in wire loom as you run it to the inside(exhaust etc) I wired mine into the stereo fuse because it comes on with the ignition.

I put mine in the ignition and it works fine with the lights...it comes on with the lights and dims with them when i dim the panel. I put one to the sender the other to the ground and then the other went to my ignition fuse in the fuse box that was it for me.

Sorry i made a mistake i went to the ip dimmer fuse and the pcm ign. fuse in the fuse box with those two wires. The pcm ign. i believe is the switched one and the ip dimmer is the constant i believe.
