I am trying to disconnect the tranny and the engine so i can pull the block but every time I push down the who flexplate moves along with the crank. How can I stop this from turning so I can disconnect the bolts.?

 

impact gun or an extra set of hands to resist against the force you're putting down... not much else you can do really.

air tools work wonders, definitely a good investment to have.
