help on some codes please

po131 02 sensor circuit low volts (bank 1 sensor 1)


p1641 manfacurer contrl. auxiliary inputs auxiliary outputs


my car is running so rich it wont hardly run. it started at the track.after i got it scaned i barely got it home.it misses so bad and smells like gas.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

P0131 indicates the O2 sensor voltage is hung up below 200mV. That will cause the PCM to think the engine is running lean, and add a lot of extra fuel. If its a "false" lean indication, it will run rich, as you have described. You need to determine if its a problem with the sensor or with something causing the presence of a lot of air in that side of the exhaust. Swap the pre-cat O2 sensors side-to-side. If the problem follows the sensor, its a faulty sensor. If the problem stays on the driver's side, its too much air in the exhaust, or faulty wiring for the sensor.

P1641 indicates a problem with the primary cooling fan relay control circuit.

I think i may have burned my o2 ext. that will make it read wrong im sure. hope thats all it is thanks Fred
