Hope some of you can give me some help with a problem I am having. My baby is sick she is a 94 Z28 runs good for 10 min (till warmed up) then progressivly looses power til she wont idle. I dont see any blubbles in the water no oil in the water and no water in the oil. any ideas? The loss of power is over 5 to 10 min.

sounds like something changing with the change from open loop to closed loop

check your O2 sensors, leaky waterpump (onto opti), and vacuum lines

May be the ICM, behind the coil.

you can check your O2's by disconnecting them, this will make your car stay in open loop I think.. your car will then run off pre-programmed tables from your pcm if car runs fine for more than 5-10 min. like you said then you have found your problem.

Angry Oh crap ...

Well I think I have tracked down the problem. Seams my daughter put E 85 in the tank ... from what I can assertain looks like O2 sensers ar fubar. getting new ones and drainin the tank. Anyone know if there are sensors that can be used with e85?

Buy a couple big plastic gas cans. Never know, they might come in handy in the future as well.
