HELP! SES code P0157

im not quite sure what this means, hopefully it doesnt mean the cat is bad and i need to replace it. the code is "O2 sensor low volts (bank 2 sensor 2). i changed the sensor (post cat coming off the passenger side bank) amd i thought it was a bad leak i had between a pipe connection, which i fixed with a MIG weld, but im still throwing the code after those 2 changes. what to do?

Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) circuit low voltage Bank 2 Sensor 2

Since you already changed the sensor, sounds like it might be a problem with the wiring.

how could i check it? is there someway i could get the other part of the wiring harness that the sensor plugs into? im not totally surprised it if the wires got messed up, i never liked the setup how much the wires got twisted when you have to unscrew the sensor and screw it back in. the wierd thing is if i clear the code with my scanner it takes like 20 miles of driving before it lights back up

the wires are not supposed to twist when u put it in and out. you leave it unplugged, screw it in, then plug it up. perfect wires.

that 20 minute delay is normal for that code.

you need a wiring diagram and check all 4 circuits on the harness with a multimeter.

getting a multimeter is easy, using it and getting diagrams are another story
