Help - Radiator Replacement

My stock radiator has a leak so I'm trying to replace it but need some guidance because the AC lines are in the way. I've removed all I can remove: shroud, FIPK, hoses, battery and fans. The radiator is exposed and ready to be removed but the AC lines/AC radiator (ACR for short) are too much in the way. I don't know how to maneuver around them since they're not flexible. There are 4 clips on the radiator, which the ACR rests in. There's also a 'hand' that sticks out of the side of the radiator cradling the lower AC line.

Thanks!

1995 Z28 5.7L w/ K&N FIPK

Hopefully you're trying to get it out from the bottom. Also (if still in tact) part of the radiator plastic housing that holds it in place is fastened by two pins in the front w/ing the bumper cover. You can see these two plastic white pins when you open up the hood just in front of the hood latch. Your best bet to get at them is to take the 3 pins out from undernreath the bumper cover and twist them out from underneath. After everything is disconnected you simply push up to get the radiator off of the tags and then down towards you while you're laying on the ground.

Sorry for jackin the thread

Where did you guys buy your replacement rad. I went to a local dealer and they quoted a rediculous amount and then didn't have it in stock.

Thanks

I got mine from Performance Radiator. I'm up in Canada though, and not sure if PR is in the U.S. or not... Either way, I paid $200 for it.

I've seen some on Ebay for a decent price. Just make sure to research them before you buy to make sure they're not crap.

SS RRR Thanks! It worked but I took mine out from the top. The replacement radiator doesnt have that support thing for the lower AC lines so next time (it there is a next time), it will be easier.
