HELP! Quick Q: How To Adjust TPS?????
HELP! Quick Q: How To Adjust TPS?????
im switching to a plate set up for my n2o and last night as i put the plate in place behind the TB, i noticed that there will prolly need to be some adjusting of the TPS. is there any way to adjust this to allow a little more "slack"??
TIA, jon

The TPS sensor doesn't affect the position of the throttle blades, or the tension in the cable in any way... it just tells the PCM how far the blades are rotated. If you move the throttle body further away from the intake, you need to adjust the cable to provide more slack, not the TPS.
Or did I miss the point of your question?

you are correct. i thought the TPS was a fancy name for the throttle linkage on these cars. yes, that's what i need to know. how do you adjust the linkage to allow for more slack???
