HELP PLEASE!!! Those with street twin clutch!!

Ok here is the situation I need some help here. I have tried everything I know to get this transmission back into my car now for 2 days I have realigned and checked the alignment numerous times with the alignment tool and I still cannot get my transmission to go in to the clutch. I have an old yoke and have put the trans in to gear so that I can turn the input shaft and it feels like it is engaging in the first disk but it wont go any farther

Do you have any suggestions on how to align the trans with the bellhousing because as far as I can tell it is aligned perfectly but the transmission still will not go into the clutch.

I am about to just take this car to the shop because I have never had this many problems with installing a clutch before and Ill let someone else fight this thing

I found out today combination motorsports a sponsor on this board would of installed this thing for 200 bucks!!! and that includes installing the master cylinder and a warranty

oh well thanks for any help in advance but im too my wits end with this problem and I just need a little advice

thank you very much
Steve

Yes, I had the same problem.

You need to get an alignment tool that will fit all the way through both discs and into the pilot bushing.

Loosen the bolts on the PP and floater so that both discs will line up along with the floater. Then when the tool goes in all the way easily, tighten the bolts back down.

It was a real pain, so I feel your pain. Wish you success!
