Help please, LT1 ignition trouble

Codes P0300 (multiple misfire) & P0336 Crank Position Sensor Performance...

The car has been running fine, then recently while on the road it abruptly stalled. At first it would crank over and idle very rough for a few seconds. Now it will crank over, but hit on only a few cylinders for about 3-5 seconds and then stall. The starter sound is louder than the engine running during this period and you only know the few cylinders are hitting after killing the starter.

Recently installed LT headers and checked for burnt Plug and PCM wires, no burnt wires.

Replaced the crank position sensor and still have the same above describe scenario. Just for extra measure, I put a few gallons of gas in it, just in case the gas level gage went bad. No luck either.

I have an opti on the way, but does this sound like an opti problem or something else. It seems to me it obviously is an ignition problem.

Anyone have any ideas/thoughts?

If anyone has any ideas it would greatly be appreciated..

The coil checks out ok impedance wise and spark wise, the ICM checks out ok, and I have fuel pressure.

I jumped the car with another to make sure it was not the battery, the car cranks fine it just won't start (or lets say run because a few cylinders hit for very short period of time).

Check fuel pressure. When I first installed my fuel shut-off I forgot to turn it back on... the engine started and then run rough for bout 3 seconds and then it died...... after that It just turned and turned till it hit me I had to hit the fuel shut-off button once again.

Your fuel pump may have taken a dump or a fuse went out? Try that for starters..
