Exclamation Help with paint

Hey everybody, somebody scratched the hell out of my car. I got the duplicolor paint that matches my paint color but the problem is that I dont know how to apply it, the instructions are very vauge and every time I try it leaves an obvious mark, wont blend in so I wipe it off. If anybody has any secrects I would greatly appreciate some help, or if your in the bay area I could pay you to do it for me. Thanks everybody.

Duplicolor spray or brush?

Have you exhausted all other avenues, like a good polish, polishing compound, rubbing compound, etc.? I haven't seen any "touch up" jobs that look very good, unless you're talking a tiny paint chip. If the scratches are down to the metal, you need professional repairs.

Yeah, they are down to the fiber glass, I think your right about needing prof. repair, I was just trying to avoid the fact. Got a quote for 1200 bucks, its the whole passenger side that has nicks and scratches.
