OK i have a 96 SS and i have jet hot SLP shorty headers. Which has the factory 2 cats. which then runs into the. Slp 2otl that came with the car from SLP. Anyway i was getting a ses light and had it read at auto zone. Which said low voltage.Bla Bla you know the deal.On bank 2 which i was told this was a pre cat 02 on passanger side. So i was just going to get them both and replace them.So i call Jason Crommer up and tell him the same thing and he tells me that the one i need will be like 60 bucks and that it is in front of the passanger side cat. and i had been told pre cat o2`s are around 30 to 35 bucks from them so what am i missing here that is a price for the after cat 02`s So which 02`s Do i tell him i want.I am thinking tell him to give me the pre cat 02`s and that is that.Because the after cat 02`s are for the reading of the cat`s. and i have no bad codes on thoes.If i am not getting something here Please let me know. You should have 4 sensors all together, the 2 that are in front of the cats have different plugs than the ones after the cats. I have paid $50 to $60 bucks for Bosch sensors. I don't know if I have helped out or not, good luck.

 

The pre-cat O2s should be ACDelco #AFS75, GM p/n 25312184 and should be ~$35 wholesale. Maybe Jason told you cost for both sensors on one side.

 

Yes i know They have differant plugs. But Jason said that the one before the cat on the passanger side is what i need but it would be like 60 bucks i ask again. With the same response when i am sure.That 02 is a pre cat 02 and should only be 30 to 35 bucks from them.Unless i am just missing something on the type set up i have. Thanks shoebox. I think i am just gong to order the two pre cat 02`s like i was going to do and be done with it. and when i change those i will take out the after cat 02`s and just clean thoes up and throw them back in.I think this should cure all my troubles.

Just call Jason up again and tell him you need 2 of the front o2 sensors. I ordered 2 of them yesterday from him at $35 each.
