Re: HELP!! Need a KIT
if you look at www.gofaststuff.com under Specials you will see several 4 blot main kits for a 350 they are like $79
Re: HELP!! Need a KIT
Are you talking about coverting your block to a 4 bolt main. I just did the same and my engine builder talked me out of splayed 4 bolt caps. The caps would have been around $300 and then the extra machine work to drill and tap the block would have been $150 plus another $150 to align bore the mains after the caps were installed. I did regular 4 bolt forged mains for about $250. Then you can use regular arp bolts for a small chevy 4 bolt with windage tray.Depends on your horsepower levels but the guy who does my engine work builds some awesome engines for a lot of drag race guys racing in wisconsin. He is good
Re: HELP!! Need a KIT
I've done a 4 bolt main conversion Cost was 550 total installed.
Hey Injuneer what machine shop did you go to? I've done my lt1 engine work at pat musi. Im getting ready to build my ls1 and im trying to compare prices and go for the better deal around. Do you know of any other engine shops in NJ?
