HELP need advice

as most of you know i brought my car in for a cam install a few weeks ago, when i went to pick up the car it ran fine, when i got the car home it had a knock,it is about a 40minute drive from the shop to my house,by the way it was raining that day so i did not beat on the car,i had the car towed back to the shop, after taking the whole car apart,he told me it was a rod bearing.so my question is do i have a case to go to small claims court.i paid almost $2000 for install and $300 in tow fees,I didnt even have the car out of the shop for more than a hour,i brought him a perfectly good running car now all i have is a car in pieces in need of a motor.

Cool

I would get a second opinion. How many miles do you have on the car?I not running a cam yet,but previous posts have suggested the upper end(lifters) require some work as well with a cam install,as well as new tuning.Anybody want to chime in?

the motor had 58,000 miles,he pulled the oil pan off and said its a rod bearing.the car was returned to me with in pieces, tranny out half the exhust ,intake off,its just a mess,he says there was no reason to put it back together cause it would have to come apart again to take the motor out.It was tuned by PCMforless
