Help my friend pick a cam

My friend is going to get ported LT4 heads, and is looking for a cam. He DEFINATLY won't rev it past 6K, so I'm telling him to get the crane 210/224. Look at my sig for track #'s bouncin off the limiter and shifting out of the powerband with a slippin tranny. Do you guys have any other cam recomendations for someone with ported heads, but that won't rev it past 6K. I'm telling him not to go too big on the cam or he will just be slower since he will be shifting way too early keeping it out of the powerband.
He also has a 235/235 114 LSA cam, but I think he will be shifting way too early for that cam at 6K and that would make it pointless.

Well I've read about the zz4 being a decent option and a cheap one also. Then you could also do a custom grind like 206/236 or something... But I would lean towards the zz4 sounds like a stump puller cam....

The crane cam would be great for him, with ported LT4s, abig cam is going to make power a lot closer to 68-7000 in a 350, he'd be much better suited to a smaller duration cam with a large lift, on a 114 or larger lobe seperation

I would also take a look at the GM 845 and the TPIS ZZ9. Both are just a tad
more than the 227. If it's still there, a NIB ZZ9 is for sale on the parts board.
Specs below are with 1.6 rockers:

Crane 104227
210/224 511/553 112

GM 12370845
214/224 521/543 112

TPIS ZZ9
212/226 515/555 112
