Help me please
Hello everyone.
I have a 95 LT1 M6 with 49K Miles on her. I am getting a tick from driver side engine. I don't know if it's my Lifters or exhaust or EGR or Injectors. It comes at 2000 RPM up to 2300 RPM and then the ticking stops after 2500 RPM. I checked my rockers and they were all fine. I also put Engine Oil Supplement (EOS) and that did not help. If it had a lazy or collapsed lifter, would my oil pressure drop? My pressure is good.

Do you have headers...... possible exhuast leak? Have you tried using a stethescope on the valve covers and injectors?
A weak lifter will not reduce oil pressure.

I don't have headers. So my best bet is to scope the valve cover and try to find out where the ticking is coming from? Lets say it is the lifters...Is it pain in the *** to do? how many hourse am i looking at? Parts and labour.
