... before I change the plug wires a second time. THe plugs weren't hard but the wires were a bitch. I spent the better part of today on #7 alone. The left CAT had to come out before I could reach the bolts on the wire heatshield-which are, by the by, 3/8", not metric for some odd reason. Something still isn't seated quite right, I'm getting a miss on #3 but it can wait until tomorrow, my arms look like I'd been trying to choke a bobcat.

That's why you should use long tube headers and OVC wires .

Point taken. I probably will get headers rather than go through this again. On top of it all. This morning I came out to a gallon of coolant on the garage floor so I spent all day today replacing the water pump. The very last bolt was the alternator + connection and I dropped it and lost it so I had to go out and buy one.

After having long tube headers and a over-the-valve-cover wire setup, the thought of doing a stock wire replacement puts chills down my spine. Plugs and wires are not easy on our cars, as you already know. Sounds like your getting there though.
