Exclamation Help me make a shopping list...I know nothing of modding LT1s...

Well, I have 2-2.5k to spend on mods right now. Only problem is, I don't know what to get. I do know that soon after this, I want to go with a cam and RRs, probably a CC306 or a LT4 HK, I don't know which. So I suppose what I need would be stuff to make the motor ready for the cam. I will be getting headers, probably Hooker LTs, but, again I don't really know about headers for these cars. So, if you were me, and you had 2-2.5k to spend on mods (this is not including the cam and stuff) what would you get?

I would get a set of Hooker Longtubes, Custom Y-pipe, Cold Air kit, Catback exhaust and I would probably sink the rest in suspension stuff. That should get you started.

-SLP loudmouth exhaust $380
-AS&M headers/y-pipe $750
-CAI $180
-4.10gears $200
-PCMForless tunning $150
-BMR tubular LCA's $110
-BMR relocation brackets $70

Thats $1840, and you will need some money for the gear install and maybe the header install. Unless you are doing the install yourself?

You may want to do some of the little mods if you do the install yourslef and have some extra cash. Like TB airfoil, 160 thermostat, LT4 KM, etc. Just my $.02

What are LCAs? Also would subframe connectors be a good thing to get? Also, how much would the 4.10s help me out?

LCA stands for Lower Control Arms. Subframes would be a good idea. The 4.10 will help on an M6 assuming you get traction, which the LCA's shoudl help with. What brand of tires are you running? You might want to get a sticker tire.
