Help me identify brand and type of 1.6RR.

When i bought my car, the previous owner threw these 1.6 roller rockers in. Im not sure of the brand or if they are self aligning or non self aligning. He also said that there was something missing in the kit, and i cant recall what it was. Here some pics.

They are gm 1.6 self aligning. Look like the ones that come with the lt4 hotcam kit.

I believe they are made by and almost identical to the crane rockers.

Are these roller rockers complete? i recall him saying i was missing something.

Im wanting to get them installed 2 weekends from now. Ive been reading that alot of people recommend upgrading to the LT4 springs. With 123K miles on the clock, is there anything else i should upgrade. Ive also read some recommending valve seal replacement. The engine is also from a Caprice because the previous owner threw a rod in the factory motor. Should i need to get hardened pushrods?

I would get hardend push rods too just for the piece of mind. But they look like those would have came out of a lt4 hot cam kit as mentioned above.

maybe. i kinda recall him saying it was some sort of nut. I dont think these were from a LT4 hotcam kit because he also threw in an CC305 that he had previously installed on the old motor.

Ya they are missing the poly lock nuts. You can get a whole set of the locking nuts for like 30$.

I found some poly locks on summit and they have .3750" and 3/8"( i realize its the same measurement in metric and standard) but they have different prices. The first one is $22 and the second is $32. Which one do you think i need? They wont be able to ship them till 8/31 and 9/9 so i probably wont get this project finished in time. Unless any other sites have them.

Basically, from using the search function, i need LT4 springs, LT4 retainers, LT4 locks, chrommoly hardened pushrods, replace the seats and valve stem oil seals(because of mileage). Im trying to find the retainers and locks on gmpartsdirect.com but to no avail. Anyone know where else i can get these? I went through about 15 threads and saw that these are the most common upgrades that people do for the 1.6rr swap. Am i missing anything?

If i have Crane S/A narrow body rockers i wouldnt need to make clearance on the valve covers. So i can either buy a new complete set for $370 and buy all the necessary add ons and can get it complete in time and not have to worry about making modifications to the car or try to piece the set i have together and buy the necessary add ons and try to get results in before the season ends. What do you guys suggest?

I did find this thread http://web.camaross.com/forums/showt...etainers+locks where one member has a part list made for N S/A roller rockers. Im hesitating on the roller lifters because that adds about $530 to the part list. Is this a pretty good list?

If they are GM LT4 rockers, there are two versions of those - 10mm and 3/8". You probably have the 3/8" but it would suck to buy parts and then find out otherwise...

No, a four-year-old parts list is not a good guide.
