Help me fix my play in steering, feeling unsafe.
Hey guys,
Got about an inch of play in the wheel, feels really unsafe on the freeway. Already replaced my rag joint. I've heard other possible causes would be the tie-rod ends and ball joints. I took a look at them and they looked visually ok. Car was aligned not to long ago, they said that my lower control arm was a little tweaked but nothing to worry about. Any other suggestions to fix this dreaded dead spot in the steering?

No, not yet. Any tips on how to see if that would be the problem? I was thinking that it could have something to do with the steering shaft where it enters the rack, if was was some sort of play in the pinion where it meets the rack? Any way to test/replace the pinion?
