Help me diagnosticate my LT1 Please rpm's problem

Guys, recently my car is acting strange, is a 1994 Camaro LT1 ..this is the problem

When started "cold" the RPM slowly go up to 1,400 rpms.... when is hot, rpms seems right at 1,000... at a light i can see a slight moving up and down for a second and then goes back to the rpms it was.. repitedly

at Park I can hear the slight going up and down of the engine.... also noted that when the car is used a lot the Rpms go almost at 500... feeling like is about to go off....(seems and feel to low) engine is almost not fell...

Checked the lines of the intake (egr related) don't look like a escape

intake elbow don't look like is broken for a part that will cause a leak..(is broken at the edges)

Any suggestions will be apreciated...

Try cleaning your throttle body, it maybe dirty. Remove it from the intake manifold, and disassemble it completely and clean all the passages, then reassemble. Don't forget to use a cleaner for throttle bodies only. Carb cleaner can strip off the finish of the throttle blades.

really sounds like a vacuum leak

one common spot to check is the intake elbow where it connects to the throttle body and make sure it is not folded up on the bottom, if that is not it it would look i would look very closely for a leak somewhere else, and maybe even spray around with some 2+2 or carb cleaner and listen for a change in idle sound

If you did spray the mass air sensor with the wrong cleaner this could have these kind of affects. Also if you sprayed the tb with the wrong cleaner and stripped it a little i dont think it would have that much of an affect on performance like that. Could be the iac going bad though. But their should be codes it its running like that.

Did you spray cleaner into the small hole in between the bores in the throttle body? If so,you may have filled up the idle air passage with liquid, or the excessive liquid/solvent may have damaged the IAC valve motor. Remove the IAC (do not attempt to move the pintle, or you will do further damage), and blow the idle air passages out with compressed air.
