Question help me Decide, quick!

Okay, here's the deal.
I've been wanting to order 1994-1995 single cat shorty style headers for my 1997 LT1. I am down to two different kinds, MAC and Hooker. The MACs are about $369 plus $159.99 for ceramic coating. The Hookers are around $525. I'm leaning towards the MACs right now but need some help deciding! Just so you know, I already have a brand new 1994-1995 Borla system sitting at home and a pair of 02sims. I also have Taylor OVC wires and will be running an off-road pipe.

Also, what spark plugs should I run and do you think my stock 02sensors will be fine after 40,000miles?

Thanks

May as well change the o2 sensors while you're in there. Go hookers if you don't have emissions testing.

Change your sensors.....you should do them around 50K I hear, but you might as well get them done now while you're down there.

I'd just replace your spark plugs with another set of AC Delco double platinum. That is unless you want to change your spark plugs every year, then go with a copper plug like NGK.

I'd take a look at the Jet Hot headers. There like the hookers but have a better coating on them. If you want coated headers. Hope this helps

I must not have been too clear. The Hookers I am talking about are 1 5/8" shorties vs the 1 5/8" MAC midlengths. Any opinions?

I'd go with the MACs, better plug access.

Both headers are almost even. I went with the MAC's at first, before my longtubes, and they were fine. They come with a ceramic coating but it isn't very effective after 5000+ miles. I say go with the MAC's because I had them and they worked fine for me. If you want to get them coated, then do it because it will look better and last a little longer. If you don't get them coated, thats fine too, but they won't look as pretty .

Oh yeah, I suggest AC Delco Platinums gapped at .050. NGK is fine also.
