Help! Lt4 hot cam kit

I just put the Lt4 hot cam kit in a friends car and have some questions. The rockers seem very noisey. Is this normal? I set the valves at 1/2 turn past zero lash. I also took the valve covers off to adjust them more but it did not seem to help. How much oil should I be getting at the rockers? I am getting very, very little. I also put in new lifters. Please help me.

Thanks
augi

Roller rockers are noisy in general. I got composite valve covers. It helps quiten the noise down.

It takes a minute or two after startup for the oil to start coming out at the rockers. After that it can start shooting out a bit and getting onto my headers. Were you adjusting them with the engine running or not? I tried adjusting mine with it running and it didn't go too well. The best way I found to adjust them was the method of getting #1 to TDC and doing 1/2 the rockers then #6 to TDC and doing the rest. I set mine inbetween 1/4 - 1/2 past zero lash. Shoebox has a good guide to adjusting them that way.
