Exclamation help... is an LS1 gas tank the same as an LT1 tank?

i know the ls1 tanks weigh 20 lbs less than our steel thugs, and i was wondering if they are dimensionally the same and are the pumps retained in the tank the same way?

anyhelp is appreciated!

They are a little bigger and use a completely different fuel pump/pickup/vent system. Don't know if our pump/pickup is adaptable to it.

I don't mean to say it is not possible. It just does not look like it would be a direct swap. Maybe someone out there has done it and can give a definitive answer. It's a good question.

TTT. I really want to try this. If it's not a easy swap, then what is interchangeable between the two then?
