Today I was pulling out of the gas station after filling up when I hit the gas and heard a loud pop from under my car. It sounded like somthing came loose and hit the underside of my car. I have reason to believe it could be the exhaust because I have had a slow leak in it and when this happened it got worse. It continues to do this pop/bang only when I hit the gas hard, but when I ease into it there is nothing. I recently just had the fuel pump replaced and they had to take off the exhaust and I think they didn't put it on right. There is nothing dragging or hanging thought. ANy thoughts?

I just bought a new magnaflow exhaust, but cant have it put on untill next week so im affraid to drive my car untill I get it looked at.

Does this sound like it could be the exhaust or somthing more serious?

 

Sounds like maybe a tranny mount...
