Help with electrical or fuel troubles?

My 94' Z is idling rough after the car warms up. The engine is vibrating pretty bad. There is also studdering or hesitation when I am coming to a stop or rolling of the line slowly. There seems to be a power loss at light throttle, open throttle is okay. I can also smell gas. I have a new opti, plugs and wires. I think I might need a new fuel pump? What does everybody else think?

Prolly right. If it's not throwing any codes, check the fuel pressure. Here's a good write-up on shoebox's website. It tells pretty much how to troubleshoot the entire fuel system. http://www.shbox.com/1/4th_gen_tech2...essure_testing

Since you smell fuel, it's doubtful the fuel pump is the problem.

Disconnect an O2 and see if it runs good even after it warms up.

How new are the opti, plugs and wires? If the trouble started after replacing them, then that would be where I would start my search.
