help with electric cutout wiring

I'm wiring my electric cutout today and I'm wondering where yall ran your intermediate cable? through the center part of the car? or by the passenger side? also how much extension did you need on the ground and power wires? in my qtec instructions it says a power source is a switch fuse in the fuse panel.. not sure what that is and exactly how to wire that. and for the ground it says to wire it to the ground wire on the cigarette lighter, im just wondering how easy it is to access to that. Basically my let me know the easiest way to wire this.. thanks yall

Wire the power to here:

The arrow that says 12v when car is on, is where you need to wire the power to, and the ground is simple enough....

I got power for mine from the radio fuse in the fuse block. Ground from a bolt under the knee panel, which is also where I ran the wires to behind my console storage area under the radio which is where my switch is. For the wire going from the switch to the cutout: I ran it through the drain plug in the floor of the car on the passenger side by the back seat. I ran it up under the carpeting, took off the kick panel and ran it under there, then under the glove box area to behind the radio/console storage area. Good luck, ask any questions if needed.
