HELP!!! connectiong rod... ASAP!!!

does it matter what part of a stock lt1 connectiong rod faces the front of the engine? im looking at them all.... one side of the connecting rods is more rounded than the other...... i notice some are faceing one way and some the other... so does it matter what part of the connecting rod faces the front of the engine???

Thx

Re: HELP!!! connectiong rod... ASAP!!!

when you put your bearingings in the rod you will notice that they sit more to one side. that side will be towards the center of the pair of rods, meaning the bearing is moved over to make room for the fillet in the crank. does that make sense? your pistons might have a front arrow also to help also
