How to lube the new motor?

How to lube the new motor?

Anyone have any special way of doing this? I hve heard that since it's an LT1 it will be more difficult? Any advice will be very appreciated. Thanks!

Old distrubtor + Drill = Lubed motor.

It is my reccomendation you do this just like you would any other SBC> You will need the intake off though.

You can also get a fitting designed to be used in a drill that mates to the oil pump drive. You can probably order one from Summit.

i made a tool to lube the motor...but it sat on the stand for a day or so. Before firing it for the first time i pulled the coil wire off and bumped the keep about 6 times for a few seconds, put the coil wire back on and hit the key and it ran like a wet dream
