Help choosing a cam

Hey guys I need help deciding on what cam to use. Im dropping a stock LT1 back into my car until I can build the shortblock that I want. I want to go with the biggest cam I can go without affecting drivability too too much. Since Im getting the whole motor complete, I figured might as well put a cam in it. I dont mind getting stiffer springs to handle it, so I plan on changing the lifters and springs with the cam. Think I can go with a 500 lift cam? I will be putting a little bit of nitrous to it as well, but the heads and internals will be stock for the mean time.

Re: Help choosing a cam

Read this thread...it's far and away the best camshaft selection guide around. Sounds like you have lots to learn; hopefully this thread will do the trick.
