help! car wont stay running

A few days ago my car overheated while driving. I pulled over and let it cool. I checked out my elec pump and it was working fine so i finished my ride home with no problems as far as temp but i noticed a few hesitations. I thought it was heat related. Later that day after the car was cold and sitting for a awhile i tried to start it but it would only run for about 5sec then die. Any ideas what would be causing this? Bad sensors? Anything i should check for? There are no engine lights on.

Possibly Ignition Module or Coil.

Scan or have it scanned for stored codes. That may help.
