once I install cc306 cam, spring and header the car won't idle after the first start. so i start it agian still nothing .Never had my pcm sent out . Guy please help

You have to tune the pcm for that cam.

 

is there any way to bypass that

 

No i don't believe there is anyway around it. Pcmforless only charges like $100 dollars or so and most of the mailorder tunes are spot on.

 

X2, although I have heard of some people getting away with their cars starting. Bad thing is, they have a tendency to run real rich and blow black smoke until the ECM gets tuned. It's kind of funny because a close friend of mine put a CC XFI 292 in his rebuilt stock LT1 and he can't figure out why it won't start either. I have told him several times over that he needs to get his computer tuned, but he insists that the guy at Jegs is smarter than I am about this. According to my buddy, the "Jegs techie" told him that there isn't a way to tune these computers and that the stock computer should be able to tell what cam is in there and automaticly adjust to it. His car has been sitting for quite a while now.

 

You have to get it tuned, I literly just sit an engine in and hooked it up with a larger cam, and it runs super rich and will not idle at all.
