HELP! Car dies???????
OK, here's the problem. First let me just say that the 93 LT1 opti-spark was replaced about 15K miles ago, it has 125K on the motor, basically stock. Drives fine, but ignition system shuts down on me after 10-20 mins on the highway. 2200 rpm. Could it be...?
A) The ignition module is failing.
B) The Coil is going bad.
C) Bad opti-spark
D) Someone mentioned something about the fuel pump could be bad?
Please any feedback would help.
Thanks a lot.
Eric

Have you scanned if for codes? Since you have a 93, all you have to do is short the ALDL pins and flash the codes on the SES light. Courtesy of Shoebox:

Then check the codes on Shoebox's code list, being careful to use the column on the far right, which has the codes that are specific to the 1993.

No codes for the fuel pump, but that's simply a matter of checking the fuel pressure.
