Help ASAP plz

I snapped one of the three ARP bolts that hold the sproket to cam.
(the torque wrench I have sucks) can I still run it with 2APR with lots of threadlocke and a lot of luck lol. I won't be running nitrous and if I do it won't be for a while like a long time.

Re: Help ASAP plz

Absolutely not. You need to repair it correctly.

Drill it out, take your time with an extractor kit and a good/correct size drill bit (being sure to keep shavings contained). It isn't that difficult, and you will thank yourself later

Re: Help ASAP plz

If you don't feel comfortable drilling it out, take it to a machine shop. They may or may not overcharge you, but at this point you need to have this addressed properly. So yes you can take the cam out of the engine and have it fixed.

Re: Help ASAP plz

If you do do it yourself, grind the tip of the twist drill (drill bit) to about 20 deg. that will cut that hard metal easier.
