Help asap

Help....ive got the 12V swiched wire hooked up to tranny temp gauge and now i need the constant 12V(for the light on the gauge)...which port on the back of the fuse box can i use...the far right or the left

now when i put the black wire to ground while the white is on a constant 12V in the fuse box the gauge light comes on with the car off...i thought u run the gauge light wire (white) to constant 12V and the Ignition wire to the switched 12V...what the hell...

For my gauges I just used a spade end and slide it on one side in my headlight fuse.... So, when I turn mt lghts on the gauges light up....

no man.......the 12v wire for your gauge light goes to a tail light fuse or instrument cluster light(dimmer light) circuit. so that the light comes on when you turn on your cluster lights. or.................. you can run the 12v gauge light wire to ignition so the light will come on and off with the gauge like you figured it would. either way works fine.
