Help With Air/Fuel Gauge Install

Buddys trying to install it on his camaro. He has 4 wires coming out of his o2 sensor. What wire does he tap into from the sensor?

the purple one. Ones Purple, and I believe the others purple with a white tracer.
I spliced into mine 6 inchs away from the PCM alot easier to access.
