Heater valve

Can anyone tell me where the A/C heater valve is on a 94Z?? is it electrically or vacuum actuated??

both, vacume to open to door to suck cold air & electronically to turn on the AC condenser.

The only real "valve" is the door that causes air to pass through or bypass the heater core. It is controlled by a cable that is attached to the temp dial on the dash. The door is inside the HVAC housing. The other doors that route air to different locations are vacuum controlled.

Fixed!! Pulled the lower passenger side panel off, about right in the middle there is a "pulley" that connects with to the cable from the HVAC "temp" ****. Apparently, after 104K miles it was kinda loose allowing the heater "valve" door to stay open in the heat mode. Tightened/adjusted and ...COLD A/C AGAIN!!!
