I'm really not sure of the HP gains I got when I had mine ported and polished, because the base dyno run I made had a weird spike in it...but afterward, I did make another 40 lbs/ft of torque!

The heads are where almost ALL of the power is. Find someone that You trust!None of the BIG NAME heads have held up on the flow bench that I have witnessed.

It is hard to estimate what kind of gains u can establish from heads, although it is true they make a significant difference in horsepower. When choosing heads, u have to consider ur cam/ rocker combination as well. U could have something like the Hot cam kit, and go with some STAGE 3 race heads, and ur not gonna be very efficient. It's like trying to drink water out of a swimming pool.

www.cmotorsports.com has some nice heads/cam packages which are also pretty affordable.
U have to consider what kind of performance levels u are looking to reach for before u can just go buying heads and cams.

well what would be a nice heads and cam combintion I knew they depended on each other but i wasnt sure which one to get. The car is a daily driver but im not concerned about things like gas mileage if that effects it.

I would find a set of heads and have them indepindently flowed. This is a MUST. Then call Joe Overton at Lethal EFI Performance and have him taylor a cam for your needs. I did and I am very Happy Shoot me an email if You are serious and need some info.
