Heads gasket
Felpro #1074, its .039, which will give you more compression and better cooling. You will probably spend about 35 each. You have to pay to play.
Just for reference, the Impala SS 94-96 head gasket is .029, but it has worse cooling capabilities. I would, and have bought the felpro time and time again.

The Felpro has larger holes in it to allow more coolant to flow throught the head, the Impala Gasket (remember the Impalas had iron heads, so they cool differently) has really small very restrictive holes for the coolant, this means that the Impala head gasket, while having a much better thickness than the Felpro, will make you heads run hotter, promoting detination and making the Knock sensor dial back the timing (i.e less power). I say Go Felpro, but its you money, do what you feel is best.
