Heads and Cam Install

My buddy just finished up heads and cam install, and car won't start, just cranks over. Any ideas? Can opti go in wrong, what hole does the pin go in? Any help would be great.

ur supposed to do that actually to get the oil pressure up, we did that with mine by disconnecting the coil, so the car would crank but wouldn't start, check ur coil. just a guess?

Actually...the cam dowel should only fit into one hole on the back of the opti without any force whatsoever. When you bolted the opti to the front of the timing cover...there should not have been any resistance at all. The opti should have been flush against the timing cover before it was bolted down indicating that the cam dowel was seated in the proper hole.
