I have a 93 Lt1 Z28. I have a chance to buy a set of brand new Patriot 190cc heads complete, 2.02/1.60 valves, 5-angle valve job, and a Comp Cam 503.My question is....is Patriot a good brand and will the heads and cam get along. I also have a 3000 stall and a fully ported Lt1 intake with a 52mm T.B (not on car yet) One more thing I was planing on using 1.6 rockers would I have to change push rods....Thanks your helpful input would be appreciated

 

Changing rockers will have little or no effect on pushrod length, but changing heads and cam might. You should measure for correct pushrod length.

 

I would not use those heads if FREE. Despite the name they are chinese junk. When a valve seat falls out BAD things happen.

 

I question the quality of the aluminum used in their castings.
