195cc ported heads+1.7rr+hotcam....would this be a good idea?

I currently have the hotcam w/ 1.6 rrs.

I want to port the heads, and I figured that switching from the 1.6's to 1.7's would give me more lift, thus more hp.

do not want to swap the cam.

From all that I have read, switching to 1.7rr's will REQUIRE different push rods, springs, and although it has been done on the LT1, it's tricky and may not be easier than switching to a new cam.

The added lift along with the ported heads should give you more horsepower, but there are reasons why few people go with 1.7's on the LT1
