Headers install got some ?'s

Well i will be installing LT headers shortly with no emissions (hopefully) and i had a few questions.

1. I have heard of some people will bolt it in the y-pipe instead of welding it so that they can unbolt it and put back in cats for emissions and such. I was wondering how this is done? Do i have to buy another y-pipe with cats to bolt up in there?

2. What do i do about the o2's? Where will i put them once i install the headers and everything? Do i have to get o2 sims or what? I haven't read much about the where the o2's go after the install so could someone please enlighten me?

Thanks,
Brian.

The O2's are just further back now that you will have LTs, and you will need O2 extentions.

Since you have a OBDII car, you have 4 02's. Provided you have 02 bungs in your headders, you will need to program out your rear 02's (or get sims), and buy extensions for your front 02's.

As far as your y pipe, if you want to have that ability, you will have to have a custom one made. I have seen some mids and shorties where you can but the y pipe that has the bolt in cat and you can change it over with a straight pipe for the track, but never seen it for LT's. If you want a y pipe that deletes your cats, get the hooker y pipe.
