If you have the cash, go for Finish Line Performance or TPiS long tubes...

Otherwise go for the Hooker or Jet-Hot long tubes...

As far as clearance goes, you really can't beat TPiS or FLP...the only problem with clearance I've had is where the 3" Y pipe runs on the drivers side from the collector but that had nothing to do with the long tubes themselves...

I could have the cash lol. Going to be doing headers and cat-back soon hopefully. Got 3k in the bank then my tax check. Going to get either Corsa or GMMG cat-back and headers.

I just ordered LT's from PPC today. They are still in protyping for the LT1 systems, but should have them no later than April. I will be one of the first to have them for the LT1. I'll let you guys know what they are like when I get them.

MAC mid lengths. No clearance problems, they're emissions legal, easy to install...And they'll outrun most similarly modified LT equipped cars.

These the headers you are talking about? I have a 95 T/A that came from the factory with 2 cats. Would I need to get the 95 or 96? Or does it mean that it comes with one cat on the system when it says "Header system for 94-95 Single Cat"? I've been confused about this for a while lol.

Dude do yourself a favor and do some research on headers. Search here for all the threads on LT's, mids and shorties. Find what works best for YOUR needs, not anyone elses. If you need clearance, get ones made for clearance. Also choose them on dependant on what power range you plan to be in the most with your application. Do not just pick headers on hear say or "wurd of mouf." Buy them for what you need them for. There are lots of threads on this just take your time and sort through them. I was told by one hell of a company that if I was running a street car use LT's, and if I was a track racer go with the mids or shorties. But thats just what I heard. <- hear say..lol Therefore I am getting LT's, but thats not the only reason, I did hours and hours of reseach using the search engine on here, that is your best tool. Good luck and feel free to contact me for anything you may need, I can also refer you to some other people for opinions too, but you can find plenty of those here.
