Headers=bad mileage

My wants to give me his headers off his 95 z28. I have an all stock 95 formula. If I put these headers on my stock car will it kill my gas mileage?

Dont think of peformance as a gas hog. Headers and most bolt on stuff improves gas mileage.

Headers increased my mileage but since your car is stock I doubt anything will change. If anything you should see a gain but not likely.

the only reson that your milege would go down would be because you prob would tend to have a heavier foot.

When I had my 1994 Z28 (T56) stock it was getting about 360 miles per tank ... after a CIA, MAC Headers, exhaust, U/D pulley it was doing 400 miles per tank (based on long freeway trips)!.

How is that even possible? I'm lucky if I get 220 before I have to fill up!

My '96 M6 TA has brushed 400 miles a tank a few times, all highway miles of course, and that was pushing seriously low on the tank gauge (we're talking 'nervous' low). That's with 3.42s and with cruise set at 75. Much more fun to get 270'ish miles and enjoy the POWER though!
