Header Issue

My engine (383 w/le2 heads) should be done within three weeks. The only thing I will be missing is headers. Will it be okay to run the vehicle like this for a month or so with the stock manifolds? I know it probably won't make the power that it capable of but the money I had saved for the headers has to be spent on somethng more important. I won't be able to re-coup the money for a couple of months.

Would the stock manifolds severly choke the engine?

They choke the engine when its still stock. The engine will still run but with the ported heads you will be losing even more until you get those headers on.

What do you mean I'll be losing even more with ported heads?
