header install without a lift?

man some of you guys jsut need to go out and get some good jack stands or maybe even with a cheap lift. they gotta be cheaper than a er visit

I find that pic to be a little fishy. The stock jack and wood stack would have to be positioned just perfect under the car to balance it like that. And even then you wouldn't want to be touching the car to throw it off balance. No way can some one balance a car on that narrow assed jack. I suspect chains and a hoist from above.

Yeah I remember the thread that pic was first displayed in. And even then I was on the assumption that it was meant as a joke. But you all are acting like...."Oh My God"

If you had your car suspended from above wouldn't you be tempted to stage a pic like that?

Maybe he didn't touch the car while it was up like that. Maybe he positioned the LT's under the car and let it back down slowly. Then once it was at a normal level, the he worked on it. Trust me, people do desparate things when they need to...
