Header install, q's about what else do do at the same time

My buddy has got a set of MAC headers on the way and we are going to do some other things. I put headers on flyboys 93 Z last summer so the install isnt the problem, the MACs are really easy to put in.

New plugs are going in, I hear alot the NGK plugs, are they better than AC plugs? I use AC plugs and parts at work and am very happy with them.

Also, my friend is ordering the over the valve cover wires.

What about the cap and rotor?

The car has 87,xxx on it and I am not sure of what has been done to it, not to much I think because I replaced the stock fuel filter last month.

He is putting new valve springs in it too since we will be there anyway and it will be easier to get to the spark plug holes.

I'd like to do everything now so we wont go back and do something we forgot in a month.

Thanks for the help.

I think you have everything covered i would do valve springs, plugs and wires while you are doing the headers. The cap and rotor isn't that big of a deal it can be done later since having the headers off won't help you at all. I believe the cost of a cap is almost as high as the price for a brand new opti so you might as well just get a new one since one of their main failures are the bearings which a cap and rotor won't help. As for plugs dare i say it. i run Autolites
