Header Install

I have been reading various write-ups on header installs, learning as much as I can before I try my install. All of the write-ups I have found retain the emissions. Does anyone have a link to one without the emissions? Im going to delete my emissions and would like to study it. Thanks in advance.

Well if you're not doing it with emissions, all you have to do is take the emissions off.

AIR pump and EGR. And get some block off plates for the back of the intake.

AIR pump will come off in less then 10 minutes. It was a pita removing the bolt on the manifold for me, for the EGR pipe.

don't forget you must program out (delete) the polution controls you are removing or it will throw check engine codes. Just a friendly reminder

Okay Idid header two weeks ago, but I only blocked the EGR itself and the tube the went into the manifold.

2 of the plates go in the back of the intake and if you got headers with emissions, 1 goes on the header (in the back).
