Header bolts - help..

Header bolts - help..

have a 94 z28 and hooker shorty headers and can't get to all the header bolts- what the heck can i use to get to them?? 7/16 wrench only got the ones on driverside can't get any of the others...

This is where you put on your thinking cap.

I.e., take a look at the situation and determine a solution.

It might be modifying a box wrench or rachet head, etc.

It might be removing something to get at the bolt.

It might mean going from underneath the engine.

Once removed, it might mean replacing the bolt (s) with 12 pt heads so that the next time will be easier.

Other members might be able to tell you the exact solution, but sometimes the situation calls for special attention and the only one that can see the problem is the one with their head in the engine bay.JMHO

I grinded down several sizes of open end and closed end wrenchs.It will be helpful too with a swivel and extensions for the ratachet.Good luck with the bolts
